横浜・都筑で開催！映画『食べることは生きること』上映＆風間理紗さんと考える食と暮らし Film Screening “We Are What We Eat” & Talk with Risa Kazama in Tsuzuki, Yokohama
風間理紗さんは、今年6月に東京ウィメンズプラザで開催されたジェーン・グドール博士来日イベントのクロストークセッションにご登壇してくれました。風間さんは、「エディブル・スクールヤード・ジャパン」でキッチン＆ガーデンティーチャーとして、食を通じた学びの場を広げる活動をされています。全国の学校や保育園で、畑仕事や給食の時間を通して、“生きること”そのものを学ぶ教育を実践。
また、お住まいの横浜市では「エディブルスクールヤード・ヨコハマ」の代表としてもご活躍中です。2025年春よりスタートした「エディブルグリーンシティプロジェクト」は、立場や年齢を越え、「どう食べるか」「どう暮らすか」を共に考え、学び、実践するオープンプロジェクト。多様な生き物が息づく緑豊かな環境と共存する持続可能な暮らしを、私たちの手で未来へつなげていく取り組みです。
このたび、横浜市港北区・緑区に続き、都筑区でも種まきイベントが開催されることになりました。Roots & Shoots のメンバーをはじめ、持続可能な食と教育に関心のある方にとって、エディブル・スクールヤードの活動は “Get Inspired” の素晴らしい機会となるでしょう！
「食べることは生きること～アリス・ウォータースのおいしい革命～」
映画上映とお話とーこの日都筑に『おいしい革命』の種が蒔かれる

Risa Kazama joined the cross-talk session at Dr. Jane Goodall’s event held this June at the Tokyo Women’s Plaza. As a Kitchen & Garden Teacher with Edible Schoolyard Japan, she has been creating opportunities for children to learn about life itself through food—whether in school gardens or at lunchtime.
In her hometown of Yokohama, she also serves as the representative of Edible Schoolyard Yokohama. Since spring 2025, she has been leading the Edible Green City Project, an open initiative that invites people of all ages and backgrounds to rethink “how we eat” and “how we live,” while practicing sustainable ways of life in harmony with a green environment full of diverse living beings.
Following activities in Kohoku and Midori wards, a seed-planting event will now take place in Tsuzuki. For Roots & Shoots members and anyone interested in sustainable food and education, the Edible Schoolyard movement offers a wonderful chance to Get Inspired!
