5月4日（日）はみんなでタマネギの収穫！秋沢農園で感じる自然のめぐり Come Join The Onion Harvesting Event at Natural Farm Akisawa
みなさん、こんにちは！もうすぐゴールデンウィーク。
秋沢さんは持続可能な農業について学ぶべく、セネガルやタイ、
ぜひ収穫を通して山と海と農の関係について、
【開催日】 2025年5月4日（日）
【場所】 〒256-0801神奈川県小田原市沼代1264（加工場・直売所）
【集合時間】 9:00集合、12:30解散（よかったらお弁当を持ってきて山の上でみんなで食べましょう！昼食の後も作業をしたい方は15:00ごろまでお楽しみいただいて大丈夫です）
【行き方】 可能な限りそれぞれお車でお越しいただけますと幸いです。電車で来られる場合は、最寄駅の国府津駅までスタッフが車でお迎えに行きます。
【持ち物】 水筒、動きやすい靴と服、軍手、エコバッグ、ピクニックをする方はお弁当、あれば園芸バサミ
【定員】 先着50名程度。
【参加費】 大人2000円、子ども1000円
※一人あたり玉ねぎ2キロのお土産付きです。（中玉10個程度）
竹林整備や里山再生、大雨の影響を受けた災害復興代等として全額農家様へお渡しします。当日現金にてお持ちいただけますと幸いです。

Hello everyone! Golden Week is just around the corner. We’re excited to announce this year’s Onion Harvest Event at Akizawa Farm, which was first held last year with the support of university students-and received rave reviews! This year’s event will take place on Sunday, May 4th.
Mr. Akizawa has traveled to countries such as Senegal, Thailand, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, and the United States to learn about sustainable agriculture. Today, he carries on his family’s 300-year-old mandarin orange farm, cultivating a wide variety of vegetables while engaging in biodiverse farming, forest restoration, bamboo grove regeneration, and community building. Just listening to his stories is a fascinating experience!
Join us for a hands-on harvest and take the opportunity to reflect on the connection between mountains, oceans, and agriculture.
Event Details
[Date] Sunday, May 4, 2025
[Location] 1264 Numashiro, Odawara City, Kanagawa 256-0801 (Processing Facility / Direct Sales Store)
[Meeting Time] Please arrive by 9:00 AM. The event will end around 12:30 PM.
If you’d like, bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic on the mountain! Participants are also welcome to continue working on the farm until around 3:00 PM.
[Access] If possible, please come by car. If you are traveling by train, our staff will pick you up from the nearest station, Kōzu Station.
[What to Bring] Water bottle, comfortable clothes and shoes, work gloves, eco bag, packed lunch (for those joining the picnic), and gardening shears if available.
[Capacity] Approx. 50 people
[Participation Fee] Adults: ¥2,000 / Children: ¥1,000
Includes a 2kg bag of onions (about 10 medium-sized bulbs) per person as a gift.
All proceeds will go directly to the farmers to support bamboo grove restoration, satoyama conservation, and recovery efforts from recent storm damage.
Please bring cash on the day of the event.
[Weather] Event will be canceled in case of heavy rain. We will notify participants by 6:00 PM the day before if cancellation is necessary.
