あきさわ農園で秋の農体験! 11月15日開催 Roots & Shoots at Natural Farm AKISAWA
実りの秋！ 収穫の秋！
Roots & Shootsの皆さんこんにちは！ 今年もあきさわ農園にて秋の農業体験イベントを開催します。

昨年も開催し大好評でしたあきさわ農園さんでのミカンの収穫。今年はさらにキウイの収穫と玉ねぎの植え付け体験も！
秋沢さんは持続可能な農業について学ぶべく、セネガルやタイ、ブラジル、パラグアイ、チリ、アルゼンチン、アメリカなどをめぐり、今は300年続く実家のみかん農園を継ぎ、多種多様な野菜などを育てながら生物多様性豊かな農園や森づくり、竹林再生、コミュニティづくりなど幅広く取り組まれています。お話を聞くだけでも面白いお方！
ぜひ農園を通して山と海と農の関係について、一緒に考えてみましょう。
今回はキウイとみかん狩りの後、山でピクニックをしながらお昼を食べたら玉ねぎの植え付け体験も予定しています。貴重な体験になると思いますので、ぜひ午後も含めてのご参加をお勧めします！＊午前のみの参加を希望する方はご連絡ください。

Hello Roots & Shoots Members! Let’s Go Kiwi & Mandarin Orange Picking at Akisawa Farm!

Last year’s mandarin picking event at Akisawa Farm was a huge success, and we are excited to host it again this year!
This time, we will also have a special onion planting experience in the afternoon!
Mr. Akisawa has traveled to Senegal, Thailand, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, the United States, and more to learn about sustainable agriculture. Today, he carries on his family’s 300-year-old mandarin farm, while also growing diverse crops, restoring bamboo forests, supporting biodiversity, and building a vibrant community. He’s a truly inspiring person—you’ll enjoy just listening to his stories!
Through this experience, let’s think together about the connection between the mountains, the ocean, and agriculture.
After kiwi & mandarin picking and lunch on the mountain, we will plant onions. We highly recommend joining the afternoon session as well, as it will be a unique and memorable experience!
